Is there a way of creating a URL with with a document number, that via WorkSite Web, opens a document to be viewed.

We do this with our current DMS, and it simply automatically logs the user in as a guest user, to permit them just to open the document up (ie they can't see any other part of the client). We use this both on our intranet, and on some extranets/portals and want to replicate the behavoir with WorkSite 8.

hmmm.. you could build a URL to "http://yourmachine/worksitedirectory/scripts/viewdoc.asp(x)? nrtid={moniker) where moniker is your document NRTID
