Data deploy - Urgent

Hi,

Im trying to deploy data from one DCR to Database. I mention that dcr name in a txt file & specify that txt file name in filelist.

It says DATA DEPLOY DONE but does not deploy. Im posting the log, can anyone help out what the problem is..please im breaking my head ...

It looks like DD is not able to find the file you specify and its considering it to be a delete. Check if the file exist and make sure you have specified the file path and the area is whats expected in the configuration.

Without looking at the logs (with actual values), configurations, and how you are invoking DD, thats the best guess.

Actually the requirement is when a new DCR is created, and on save, the saved DCR content needs to be deployed to the database.

Here i have specified as i have mentioned below:

But this was not working. I dont know what im missing out. It says "Path not found -- interpret as 'NotPresent'"

Try this:

area="/default/main/branch/WORKAREA/waname/"

I have seen times where DD did not work without the trailing slash and worked after. No idea why

RPC is replaced with HOPI. So, you are getting 'Path not found' message in dd logs.
As a workaround, you can try the following.
For windows:
Goto \OD-HOME\jre\bin.
Rename iwdeploy.dll to iwdeploy.dll.bak.
Copy iwdeploy_hopi.dll to iwdeploy.dll.
Then restart OD services.

Check to see if in the deply.cfg you specify the correct OD version.
Something like:
teamsite.version: 6.7

Otherwise start a new thread with the details of what you are doing and what is not working.
