unable to create a file

ok in 6.5 under templatedata I have about 6 cat\types...in 3 I cant create nothing through the gui.
permissions are fine

on the server via IFS theose 3 cat/type folders have an R int the attributes

the thinking they mgiht be read only I change all folder to not read only (win2k3).

But still I cant create a file...it is grey out in the file menu
why?

My Role was Master.

I got it fixed thanks... The read only bit was indeed set. How? I'm not sure. The store was copied over from a 5.5.2.

The fix was to run c:\>attrib -R dir or filepath

I knew there was a command but wasn't sure which one.

Was the store copied directly over the network, or burned to a CD?

One problem I ran into while doing some migration testing was that files restored from a CD retain the R bit.
