Custom Search Application

Hi All-

Questiion for any interested. We are in the middle of creating a custom search application with CGI/Perl. We are basically building a proof-of-concept, with the mindset of moving it to a .Net app down the road.

Is there a way to write the search queries using the CSSDK with Perl? My though was that we would have to parse the form (search criteria) and turn it into an XML document for the search CLT? Does this make sense or am I over complicating things?

Any thoughts would be well received.

i don't see any reason why you can't write with perl, but it might be more cumbersome than you need. I'll see if I can find anyone who's done something like this.
