Problem in download and import file

hi All,
i am facing a problem. i am not about able to import or download file from teamsite server. actually there are 2 servers. one is local and other is at some remote place which i am accessing using internet. i am able to import and download files from local server but same thing is not happening in remote server. whenever i click on import file it says 'java applet failed' on the lower bar and on click of download it 'applet .....interwoven.launchpad.IWlaunchpad notinited'
Also i am able to download files from remote server on some other PC in my network. IE security settings on both the PCs are same.
i am using windows 2000 server and i have installed java 2sdk, SE v1.4.1_02.

It IS NOT recommended that you access TeamSite over the internet. There are too many security considerations.

What are you talking about? HTTP vs. HTTPS? You can implement HTTPS with TeamSite very easily. What are you talking about?

Current Environment(s):
(1) TS 6.5 on W2K3
(2) TS 6.1 SP1 on W2K3
By the way, I miss Unix terribly.
