iwwft_instantiator null error

hi all,

When I create a new form and submit it through the workflow the browser hangs at the last step.
the workflow submits the dcr to staging and then asks to enter a reviewer . after this the page is supposed to close.

but the DCR is created and the data is deployed successfully, however the browser never completes the process and does not bring up window indicating to close browser manually.

If I click on the "Finish" button a Javascript error occurs (see message below).

If I edit, and re-submit a dcr , the process completes normally (browser displays message to close browser).

did anyone find a solution to this? it only happens for me through when running workflow by clicking finish from within dcr window.

Has anyone tried to conatct Support? It can be a bug or a known issue as it is only appearing on click of Finish button.

In my instance it is a bug (#54476), fixed in TS6.1SP2.

it occurs when the wft instantiation form has no required fields. there is also a workaround for it, which involves putting a dummy required field in telling the users to just click next.
