renaming branch

I have a branch called distest that I want to rename to disinternet. Is it OK to just rename the branch, or should I create a new one? Any advice, suggestions, flames much appreciated. We are running TeamSite 6.5 SP1 on Windows 2000. Thanks,

You shouldn't have any issues, assuming you update all references to the branch name in configuration files and any code that might reference it.
