opendeploy sends phantom file

Has anyone ever had an OpenDeploy deployment send a file to the rcvr that wasn't in the source area in TeamSite. Our server logs sending mediareleases\index.shtml even though the mediareleases folder isn't in the source TeamSite branch. Any help, advice, suggestions, etc much appreciated.
