OD6.02 server not starting

hi,
we were able to start and stop od server and admin server till yesterday
But now when i try to start Od6.02 server.
It says:
Starting OpenDeploy server.
It may take a few moments. Please wait....
WARNING: The OpenDeploy server is still not responding.
WARNING: Please check the OpenDeploy server log.
WARNING: OpenDeploy might have failed during start up or
it might still be in the process of starting up.
Make sure OpenDeploy server successfully
started up before doing deployments.
the server log says:
ERROR:Could not bind to interface(SM02-602) port(20024).

But i am able to start admin server.

You need to look at the log file as the error message indicated - and you need to probably compare the information in your odbase.xml file and what the local server thinks its hostname is and whether or not anything else is running on port 20024 (as per the error message you showed).

If you cannot handle that - call Support - and they should be able to walk you through it easily enough.

I have solved the problem . The problem was due to the host name element. I changed the host name value to host IPADDRESS.
Now the servers are working fine

when i changed the host name to host IPaddress the OD server is running fine.But the previously run jobs are not displayed when "view Deployments" is selected.

Please assist me on this.

When viewing deployments, what you are seeing is a list of jobs maintained in the OD server's memory. If you restart the OD server, the list is lost.

Use the OD reporting feature if you want to persist the job data.

I am facing the same problem.
However, the problems still here although I changed the host name to the IP address.
Does anyone can give a help???

The same problem? The same error message? Are you sure the port to which you are attempting to bind is not already in use?
