iManExtLin.Import - No User Interface

Is there a way to pre-populate profile fields which have no corresponding ICommand parameters without displaying the user interface ?

For example, to set the Custom1 or Custom2 fields, one must use the SetAttributeById method of the document object. This is simple to do with the user interface (New Profile Dialog) appearing, but is there a way to do it without the New Profile Dialog showing ?

The answer to my question is this:

If you add this value to ContextItems and use the ImportCmd

(pContectItems.Add("IManExt.Import.DuplicateProfileFromDoc", <<NRTDocument>>)

Then you can continue to populate other context items before the import, and use SetAttributeById after the import.

What this effectively does is load the profile attribs from the named document's profile into your document profile.
Since the existing doc profile has all required fields filled, no user interface need be presented when performing the import.
Any values unique to the newly imported document can be set post-import.
