Custom menu item: scrollbars do not show

Hi,

In TeamSite 6.5, I configured a custom menu item to open in the TeamSite window itself: using _self. Scrollbars do not appear.
When I open in another window, the scrollbars do appear.

in ui_custom.xml

I noticed the "scrollable" is put to "no" for that Iframe in the TeamSite window and , i tried to set the toolbars using an onload of the custom menu item:
<body onload="javascript&colon;parent.document.getElementsByName('fs_list')[0].scrolling=1;">
but this does not work either

Has anyone any idea how to have scrollbars on a custom menu item loaded within the TeamSite window?

Try: scrollbars=yes instead of scrollbars=1 in the ui_custom.xml file - re-run make_toolkits.ipl, refresh your GUI interface, and see if that works.

Hi,
Thanks for your swift answer, but no this does not change a thing.

In the mean time I reread the docs, and apparently the window features attribute is only documented (and thus works/supported) for links opened in a new window.

Other ideas?

Oops - sorry - I saw, and then promptly forgot, that you were talking about opening up something within the TS UI.
Why are you doing this as a custom menu item rather than a custom tab? (you didn't indicate if you're using CCStd or CCPro).

If you're using CCPro - consider trying to do it as a custom tab and see if that helps.

Other than that - I'd suggest contacting support.

We use CCP.

The documentation does not mention a CGI in a custom Tab, only servlets. And we are migrating from TeamSite 5.5 to 6.5, we do not have the time to rewrite all perl code in java.
