modify the page title in ccpro

jed

I would like to change the html <title> element within ccpro to include the host name of the TeamSite server (and maybe my username/role/etc). Anyone know which jsp/file to hack away at? (TS 6.1 or TS 6.5)

(yeah, yeah---unsupported....)

With multiple servers to watch over and multiple browser windows open at all times, it is a pain to figure out what is what. A default title of "ContentCenter Professional" is not all that useful...

I figured it out. Below are the steps to do this for CCPRO while in the "content" tab. Also, attached is a screenshot.

1. Copy $iw-home/httpd/webapps/content_center/ccpro/filesys/main.jsp to $iw-home/local/config/lib/content_center/customer_src/web/ccpro/filesys
2. Add the following as an import toward the top:
<%@ page import="java.net.InetAddress" %>

(This may not be required. I have not tried it without the import.)

3. Find the <title> tag and change things to look something like so:

<%
String hostname="";
try{
InetAddress me = InetAddress.getLocalHost();
hostname=me.getHostName();
}catch(Exception e){
}
%>
<title>
<%= hostname %> --
<i18n:getText key="app.name.title"
encoding="html"
bundle="com.interwoven.ui.teamsite.ccpro.common"/>
</title>

4. Rebuild the UI

5. Most importantly,**diff your changes during a patch/service pack/upgrade** For example, there were diffs in main.jsp between TS6.1 and TS6.5

Notes:
o It should be easy enough to do this to the workflow tab with the following file:
$iw-home/httpd/webapps/content_center/ccpro/workflow/main.jsp
o If this breaks something, tough! This is totally unsupported.
o This has not been tested a lot. If all goes well, this might make it to a production machine at the end of the month, but most likely, the browser window without the hostname will be the prod machine
