API Question
Terbs
What we are essentially trying to be able to do is have a link to a document on our intranet open a document in MediaBin without have to actually go directly to MediaBin. Is there an API that can do this? Or any other suggestions would be welcome. This is to help with version control.
Thanks
Jenn

It sounds like you're trying to access a document in the MediaBin repository without logging iinto MediaBin. There is no API to do this. That would be considered a huge hole in the security model.
You could easily implement your own ASP page to which your link would point to. The ASP page could log into MediaBin with a set of hard coded credentials, download the document requested to the MediaBin web client's transfer folder, then stream the contents of the file to the browser. If only a thumbnail preview were required, you would not need to download the document to the transfer folder.
Alternatively, if the link(s) point to a single file or a set of static files, the files could be downloaded manually and placed somewhere on the file system. Your link could then point directly to the file(s). If the file(s) change from time to time, a Deployment Agent schedule could be used to keep the file(s) up-to-date on a predefined interval.
