Email field on folders (projects)

I would like to programatically set the email field on a set of document folders (hanging off a workspace) but when I try it says the attribute is read only.

Dim oDocFolder as IMANDocFolder
oDocFolder.FullEmail = "A@b.c"

Is there another way?
The reason i want to do this is that when a folder has some data in the email field, the folder is , by default, displayed with the default email view in DeskSite and Mailsite. That way the end user does not have to set up the view for the email foilder.

You need to use the IManFolder.EmailPrefix property. In this field, you only specify the prefix, not the domain info. For example, if your email address is 'abc@mydomain.com', then you would set EmailPrefix = 'abc'. The server will handle appending the '@mydomain.com' based on your EMS settings.
