How do I run a Windows batch ( batchfile.bat) from a Perl program? The batch program sets some system parameters (i.e.: %PATH%). I do not want to get any output returned to the Perl program - just want the batch file to run, set its system parameters and come back.

The same way you run any other system command. A few examples:
`C:/path/file.bat`;

qx(C:/path/file.bat);

system('C:/path/file.bat');~Jeff
