SmartContext Toolbar - Customizing Edit

Mali

Hi All,

In my environment (TS6.0.1, win2k3), when i submit a DCR, workflow generates HTML (the generated file sits in Teamsite in a different folder) file and as well, it sends mail. The mail will have the link which links to the generated HTML, but my user clicks on the link, he previews the HTML with SmartContext Edit Toolbar.

The user tries to click on Edit from SmartContext Edit Toolbar, it actually takes to the HTML not to the DCR.

I want to customize the Edit URL to the DCR.

Any ideas?

Hi,
check the extended attributes of your generated HTML page.
There should attached something like that:

TeamSite/Templating/PrimaryDCR: path/to/your/dcr
TeamSite/Templating/PrimaryDocumentType: your_category/your_template
TeamSite/Templating/PrimaryPT: your_presentation_template.tpl

If not, set them in your generation mechanism...

You can set the extended attributes with iwextattr command,
see command line tools documentation for more info...
