Unable to make Replicant visible after hiding it
lazybee26
Env - Solaris on 6.5
I've attached a zip that has 3 files - DCT and 2 javascripts.
I need to show/hide replicant items depending on value of the "Tab Name". If it exists, show all replicant items else hide them.....Reason = the replicants have callouts that rely on the value selected in "Tab Name".
I can successfully hide them, but fail to make them visible when a value in "Tab Name" is selected. However the replicants show up if I REFRESH the template by right clicking the mouse (and I'm sure that the template is not really reloading from the server when i do that). I'm using IWDatacapture.redraw, but it doesn't seem to do it's magic.
And btw I'm not gettting any javascript errors.
The function that shows/hides replicant items is enabledisable_callouts_callback.
Any ideas? If you plan to run the files attached, certain features may not work.

IWDatacapture.redraw isn't needed as of 6.1, unless I am mistaken. I don't have time to look at your code, but are you sure your code is getting to the .setVisible call(s) on item change (put an alert before the setVisible)? Also, are you calling setVisible on each replicant item instance? One other thing, is the item you are trying to setVisible on in a row by itself or with another item? As far as I know there are still issues with using setVisible with items not on a row by themselves.

Yes. It does get to the setVisible call. The setvisible(true) executes fine. And I can see the items also - But thats only if I refresh from my mouse (rite click-refresh)

Yes. There are certain hidden items, that I skip though. But I'm doing that only to play it safe. I tried running setvisisble on all items, it still didn't work.

They are on separate rows. I saw one of the postings that talked about this issue. But I dont have this case.
