Datadeploy- IWOV_IDMAPS-urgent

Hi,

I have a problem in configuring datadeploy. In my database I dont have access to any of the tables. I have access only to the Synonyms for each table. When i run my dbschema for deployment using iwdd command, after connecting to the database it check for the IWOV_IDMAPS table in USER_TABLES. As I dont have access to any tables, it will not find that table and it tries to create that particular table. Then I get the following error

SELECT * FROM USER_TABLES WHERE TABLE_NAME='IWOV_IDMAPS'

ERROR Smiley Frustrated

QLException: ORA-01031: insufficient privileges

ERROR:Vendor Error code: 1031

QL state: 42000
ERROR:TIdentifierMappingTable constructor failed
Error occured in TDbAgent constructor

How to override this checking and solve this issue. Anybody have an answer

What version of DD ? OS ?
Which DB ? version ?

Does the IWOV_IDMAPS table exist ?
If it does, and you just don't have the priviledge to access it, ask your DBA to give you appropriate rights.

FYI, The DB user that you use for your deployments needs to have rights to allow creating tables. I believe this is documented somewhere - you might want to check the Admin Guide.

Hi,

Its on Solaris 8 with datadeploy 5.6 and teamsite 552.The database is Oracle 9i. The IWOV_IDMAPS table exists and the users who executes DD doesnt have access to these tables. They have access only to the SYNONYMS. But datadeploy is in sucha wa y that it checks in the USER_TABLES for the existence of the IWOV_IDMAPS. As the user doesnt have access to that its failing. I want the datadeploy to check in USER_SYNONYMS instead of USER_TABLES.How to do this.
