Hi folks,
Working on an integration between WSMP (4.1 SP1 HFB6) and another J2EE application, and we're simply trying to feed this other webapp some WSMP links. Getting the object ID is easy enough, but we're not seeing a way to retrieve or generate the first part of the URL using the WOM. So for a link like "
http://usden7stagwsmp:8080/worksitemp/link//V3/WSMP/C/F$100/C$201/", is there a way to retrieve the "
http://usden7stagwsmp:8080/worksitemp/link//" portion?
Support has told me that the "Send Link" funcationality in the application uses Javascript to pull the front part of the URL out of the browser, but for what we're doing this won't work -- there won't -be- a WSMP browser session. Am I forced to hard-code or use a properties file? (Neither of which I want to do, since both add a step to the application configuration process.)
Thanks in advance,
-John
