Hi,

Could anyone tell me what would be the impact if I install teamsite 6.5 on Windows 2003 standard edition platform? And also what problems would i encounter during the installation and operation?

Thanks!

Before you go down the path of installing it, I wanted to inform you that TeamSite is not supported on Win 2003 Standard Edition. Please check the compatibility matrix on the Support Site for a full list of supported platforms. Tech Support will not be able to assist you if you encounter any issues either during installation or during operation in the W2K3 Standard Edition environment.

thanks

Hi,
I installed TS 6.5 on a Win2K3 SE, 'cause I had to wait for a new machine.
Result:
The TeamSite login.jsp didn't show the domain dropdown field => login impossible.

Regards
Stefan

So did you manage to solve the problem?

I am using TS 6.5 on W2k3 Server SE, and it has worked fine so far, though I have not used it fully so far. One of the problem that I see is that I see Open Access service hanging.

chintu

sorry, I mean OpenAPI service

Hi,
hmmm, yes, I got my new machine two days later...

I did some debugging in login.jsp, next to line 100.
There you can see, how the domain dropdown field is filled with values, especially there's the line

domains = CSLocalFactory.getFactory(null).getDomains(request.getLocale(), request.getContextPath().substring(1));

I got null as function return value, at this point I stopped investigation...
