Perl Include in Presentation template

I would like to use Perl's Require method to include some common methods in my Presentation Templates. Has anyone done this in the past...I have not been able to get it to work.

'require' or 'use'?
Generally - 'use' is the proper way to do things - though 'require' may work too.

Perhaps if you provided a bit more context on *how* you were trying to do this we might be able to offer specific suggestions on how to fix your implementation?

We have done "use" in our presentation templates. Here's a sample:

<iw_pt/>
<iw_perl>
    use ICT:resentationTemplate; #Custom module that we built
    #Perl code using subroutines from ICT:resentationTemplate
</iw_perl>
