calling a jsp from the File Menu
mgbala
Hi,
I am calling a jsp from File menu, which returns the following error:
Error : error unmarshalling return; nested exception is: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.sun.java.util.collections.HashSet (no security manager: RMI class loader disabled)
The jsp basically uses openAPI to get some directory values from TeamSite and builds a form with dropdowns. The environment I am using: TS 6.5 SP1 on Win 2003.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks

It is much easier to use the content services SDK which comes with TeamSite 6.x. There are methods for working with objects in the backing store.
I believe that Interwoven is discouraging the use of OpenAPI and favoring the CS SDK exclusively going forward (someone correct me if I am wrong).
There is some sample code included in the CS SDK software distribution available on the support site that should get you going in the right direction.

Bill is correct, Interwoven strongly recommends no new development be done using OpenAPI, which is a 'mature' interface. OpenAPI was first shipped wtih 5.0, which has now reached end-of-life.

Thanks for the information.
Actually, the mentioned jsp is an already existing code in 5.5.2 and now we are migrating to 6.5. The problem arises due to this.
The code uses TeamSite.class which in turn uses getDirNames() to get the directory names from the backing store. Can you pl let me know how can it be handled in 6.5?
thanks
