Content Store move
Baskett
My Unix Admin would like to know if there is an easy way to move a content store between two different servers without loosing the DCR/File association.
Old Server: Solaris 8 - TeamSite v. 6.0 - Store location = /data/.iwmnt
New Server: Solaris 9 - TeamSite v. 6.1 - Store location = /teamsite/iwmnt
Command line would be the best option for him.

Those paths are *not* the backing store location - those are the mountpoint locations.
Run iwgetstore on both servers to get the actual store location(s).
In general - you will be copying what is usually a large amount of data from one system to another system.
Make sure the passwd and groups files are synchronized (using the existing server's information as the "true" data) before moving the store.
Make sure TeamSite is down on both servers before moving the backing store
Move the backing store anyway you want as long as you preserve timestamp and file integrity - usually using a backup procedure or something like rdist will work.
Once it's copied - bring up TS on the new server and verify everything. Do not remove the backing store on the old server until you've verified it on the new server.
