I have a header.tpl file, a body.tpl file and an xml file generated that has all the workflowinformation (task_output<wf_id>.xml)

can someone tell what command i can run to generate an html code taking workflow info from the xml file.

You should use the iwpt_compile.ipl script in <iw-home>/bin

The syntax is typically:

<iw-home>/iw-perl/bin/iwperl <iw-home>/bin/iwpt_compile.ipl -pt (cont'd)
   <path-to>/template.tpl -iw_pt-dcr <path-to>/spec.xml -ofile <path-to>/someOutputFile.html

Current Environments:
(1,2) TS 6.5 on W2K3
(3) Vignette V7 Portal on Solaris 9

thanks Dave.

I did that, but its taking all the info like task_id, workflow_id etc as blank

that is it is not able to recognize anything like dcr.workflowinformation.workflow@name when used

<iw-home>/bin/iwpt_compile.ipl -pt <iw-home>local/config/wft/solution/work_notification_iwmailbody.tpl -iw_pt-dcr <iw-home>/tmp/task_output####.xml

This is the complete command I gave

Does any one has any replies?

Why don't you post your email tpl, perhaps someone can help you diagnose the problem.
