Hi
how can i know if a back up of store is running or not?
That is what should i expect to see in ps -ef? Actually i want to know what process is giving me the message "the store is frozen" when i can read the files from UI.
Can some one reply soon enough

The CLT iwstat can be used to determine if/which stores are running or frozen. The TeamSite server process is most likely responsible for presenting "the store is frozen" message.
The backup process is external from TeamSite and requires an external program - whoever is responsible for implementing the backup procedure at your site should be able to provide better information about how to determine if its still running.
When a backing store is frozen - it means that the store is [usually] available for read-only access, but you will not be able to edit/modify/delete/upload files into any of the TeamSite areas associated with that frozen store.
