I would like to know about all/most differences between the format of DCT in 501 and DCT in 6.5.

They're are quite a few and many of them are between 5.5.2 and 6.0. If you iteratively look at the templating manuals for the respective versions, you should find it there.

Current Environment(s):
(1) TS 6.5 on W2K3
(2) TS 6.1 SP1 on W2K3
By the way, I miss Unix terribly.
