DCR Error

Hi

I am using Teamsite6.1SP1 on Solaris.Migrated from 5.5.2 to 6.1.
I have a Workflow which automatically creates a DCR after filling the form details.
This was working fine prior to migration.Post migration, when I use the workflow to create a dcr, it works but when I click on the dcr to view it, it gives the below error :-
"An error occurred executing command com.interwoven.ui.formspub.datacapture.ViewDCRCommand"

Workflow has a script that loads custom content into the dcr.However, after migration this script does not load any content in the dcr.Even the extended attributes are empty.

Can anyody help !!

Are you able to create new DCRs outside of the workflow? File->New Form Entry

If the existing DCRs do not have Templating extended attributes, thats one reason why you are not able to view the DCR. Set those attributes manually on one of the DCRs and see if you can open it. (use iwextattr with -s flag). That will tell you if there are other problems with it.

I faced same problem as Aarthee4 does, as you suggested i used "iwextattr with -s " flag and set extended attributes manually and could able to view DCR's properly. Here the question is when i create new DCR using workflow somehow extended attributes are not getting set. Please advice me how do i set them automatically when a new DCR created as part of the workflow.

I'm new to TeamSite please help me.

You can write a subroutine that you can call while DCR import in your workflow, which will set the templating attribute.

Syntax is something like below: -
iwextattr -s Teamsite/Templating=<category>/<data-type> <DCR Path>

Unless the user runs File > New Form Entry, or you redirect to whatever CCI URL performs the same command (don't know it off-hand, check the UICG for details) - creating a DCR programmatically in workflow (presumably externaltask script) code will NOT set the EA to designate the file as a DCR for you - as you have already discovered, you need to do that yourself using iwextattr.

Is it happening for every form i.e. each data type or only for a particular data type.
