Methods VS BOF

Hello,

we are implementing BPM and we have automatic activities which execute diferent methods. The problem is that we need also to call this methods from a WDK application and our processes are not deployed as "standard modules" (BOF)

How can we call a method from WDK? If is not possible, is better to implement a standard module so that can we called from BPM as well as from WDK?

In the other hand, we have also SBO's that we call from WDK, but we need also to call them from BPM. BPM's only can call Standard Modules so do we have to implement a standard module just to call an SBO?

If a standard module can be called from BPM and WDK but SBO's just can be called from WDK, which is the utility of SBO??? maybe its efficiency (it is cached) or maybe that it can interactuate with different repositories?

We need a little light in all these problems please

You can use DQL query's EXECUTE statement.

You have to create your own server methods which use SBO.

Utility of SBO: once realised business logic can be used any where (Server Method (BPM),  DFC (WDK) or DFS). As you remember, SBO is placed in repository and can be once updated - no need to update java classes on each client. And of course - we can use one repository for clients who works with other repositories
