Invoke native code via BOF

Hi there

I was wondering if it was possible to invoke native code via BOF. I understand that Java can interface with native code via JNI and Jacob. Does this mean that I can fire, say, an COM method from within a TBO/SBO? If this is possible, would it be possible to package up the DLL with the BOF or would this be a separate deployment to the client?
