How to pass component arguments from browsertree

Hello to all,

we want to customize the homecabinet_classic component and access to it from browsertree. We want to set the "folderPath" parameter in the browsertree so when the users click on the branch tree the homecabinet_classic component would be opened in the specified path .

Is it possible? Anyone knows how we configure this?

Changing the Home Cabinet on the fly ? I would advise to actually change the user's default folder instead, in DA or the Administration node of the browser tree (if you have the rights of course).

This way, you'll be completely independent from future versions and changes done to the browser tree because the thing is that in a couple of version, it might change completely and you would have to redo your customization therefore, better to do it in the Docbase instead.
