possiblity of generating new HTTPD!!!

Hi all,

Is there any way to re-create the whole httpd for TS box inside the same installation folder. I don't want to reinstall the whole Teamsite again.

getting my point ?

Hi,
only idea (for windows systems):
1. double-click on the IWOV-ts...exe, the file extraction process starts
2. look for the httpd installation files within the extracted files. I have in my mind that there're single executables for each part of TS...
Don't know if you could simply start them, but it's a chance...

This solution sounds good but i will have to do it when no body is around because this seems bit risky for TS box as well as for my job....

Isn't it ?
Anyway, i will first this on some testing Env.

Hi,
did you delete the httpd directory on your production system?!?
Don't you backup your prod server periodically?
You should think about it, otherwise it's also risky for your job :-)

Hi ,

No way , i can ever take the risk of such a bigger intensity. Actually I still havn't try this solution.In fact whenever i think of trying this thing on my Test env, my feet gets cold.
So, i will try this in some other box... :-))
