After the installation of the documentum developer sp2 onto vmware virtual machine, Windows Server 2003 Docbase service is not created and cannot be started.
I have noticed in DMServerOEM.xml file that during the start of Documentum Master service system is starting up dependencies services among them Docbase which is supposed to be registered under the name DMServer
<start timeout="300">net start DmServer</start>
However this name is already taken by Logical Disk Manager utility of Windows Server and i suppose that is why Docbase service is not installed.
Hope someone can help me with this one...
