Updates to CS SDK 2.1?

We currently have TeamSite 6.1 in production for one of my clients and I was hoping to use the getClientForTrustedUser method that was supplied in CS SDK SP 1 (as part of TeamSite 6.5 SP1). Will that method be made available to CS SDK 2.1 in a future service pack. If so, when will this happen as we are trying to design some new components.

I posed this question at the recent Chicago Interwoven user group and was told that no updates are planned to the CS SDK for TeamSite 6.1.
