How 2 acess any document from outside of worksite?

Hi,

I was trying to access the document from outside of worksite using the link created by sendlink option as shown below.

http://10.144.49.12/worksitemp/dispatch?datasource=document&operation=view&bjectId=!V3!EDRDEVHYD!C!D$3611!

It's always going to the worksite login screen & prompting to enter the username & password. How shd I bypass this login screen & access directly the document & display it in the jsp.

If you have any sample code pls provide me the same.

You have to login every time a new browser session is created else it wouldn't be very secure. Otherwise people could backtrack URL's then bypass security and access data with the cached credentials. If I understand you correctly. On successful login it will forward you to the original requested URL.

As am in the same network, I would like to bypass login again into worksite and I would like to display that document in their current browser environment instead of taking them into the worksite.

Please keep one thread active otherwise sometimes its confusing.

Using WOM, you can create WorkSite MP session by supplying the username/password and then you can access the WorkSite MP items. Is it not serving your purpose?

Thanks. The problem is I would like to give a link to a user who is working in different web application.

Following are the actual requirements

1) People who is working in the peoplesoft environment may wants to see some document which is in worksite (here people are in the same network).
2) They won't be logged into worksite..they will be in their environment.
3) They don't want to logged into worksite to see the documents.

This can be acheived using any one of the following solutions.

1) Using trusted logon so that once they logged into peoplesoft/windows that shd be taken to enter into worksite instead of asking user to enter the username & password once again.

2) Need to establish a session using some default user, password and Library info with worksite using WOM API and search the corresponding document then the program shd ead the content/data return the response back to the client environment.

I hope now you know my requirement exactly. Pls let me know if anyone has any easy and good way to do the same.

You can take the advantage of same network with your first option. Second and last option to create some default user, library etc and could perform your operation using WOM. It's really depends, if you are happy with existing WorkSite MP features (for your requirement) and you may not need to go with the second option but if you want something your own specific fuction that would give you the more specific and fast results, WOM will be the best solution. may be someone could give other idea.
