can we import Taxonomy ??

hi everyone,

i am new to MetaTagger
may be i sound stupid to all u experts here!

i am confused with Taxonomy,
1- can we import external taxonomy(in exel format) to MT studio ?

2- can we create Taxonomy dynamically using API's ?

Haven't worked with MetaTagger in a while but I guess MTStudio gives you different options to import vocabularies. You can definitely import it from a XML file, delimited file and a directory structure on filesystem. If not directly from Excel, you can always save excel file as a delimited text file and then either import it into MTStudio or convert that delimited file to XML.

To answer your second question, I don't believe there is an API to do this specifically, but you can always write an automated process to write your vocabulary in XML format and then import it into MTStudio.
