Docuementum Reporting services scheduler

Hi,

Can we schedule the reports using Documentum Reporting Services? We need to send summary reports periodically to the users. How can we do this using Documentum Reporting services with minimum effort? Is there any OOTB configuration?

Yes you can schedule DRS reports. Creating your own custom DRS job is just a matter of referencing the DRS server method and specifying parameters to instruct DRS which report to run, where in the repository to write the output and the format to write it in.

Can you please tell me what is the DRS server method? I did not find any method when verified from DA which related to DRS. I deployed the docapp and all my reports are working fine.

You should have a method called drs_RunReportMethod. The method is detailed in DRS_6.5_Development_Guide.pdf.

Hi,

You are right that there is a method in D6.5. Unfortunately we are using D6 SP1. I will extract the method and try to deploy in D6 environment to verify.

That should work I think. I've deployed DRS 6.5 to a 6.0 SP1 environment and it worked fine.

Hi,

I have configured reports using DRS.I have also scheduled a job to generate a pdf.But the problem is whenever I update the repository on which I am firing the query the corresponding change does not reflect in my exported pdfs not even on launching the report.
