Architectural Changes WDK 5.3 - 6.5

Hi,

Are there any architectural changes from WDK 5.3 to 6.5?

AFAIK, WDK 5.3 UI framework is similar (not exactly) to JSF. Is this architecture changed in 6.5?

I think EMC upgraded 6.5 adding new features but not changed the architecture. Is it correct?

Please read the release notes for full details but there are changes. To name a few:

- lightweight sys object

- native 64-bit support

- IPv6 support

- PDF byte streaming

- presets

Whether or not you see these as 'architectural' changes is up to you

I am looking in to the architecture (J2EE) of WDK and design pattern implementation changes in 6.5 compared to 5.3.

I guess, the best way is refer to "WDK relese notes" chapter "New Features and Changes" of version 6.5 and 6.0.
