I would like to build a Documentum Linux development stack. My objectives are to play around with a Linux distribution, and eventually setup a development Documentum stack.
I appreciate D60, is a bit old but it should be sufficent for my goals of learning more about Linux and Documentum on Linux.
From reading the release notes, the certified Linux OS are ones that you have to pay for.... if needs be I can and will do that. Has anyone installed Documentum Content Server on a free linux distro? If yes which ones? Any pros and cons please?
From other postings and discussions one of these should do the trick: OpenSUSE or CentOS

Personally I am fairly confident around UNIX, have 2 years as a developer / apps installers on various UNIX flavours, SGI IRIX, AIX, Solaris. But I have not taken the jump into Linux as I have had no need. A Documentum Linux development stack would be good target.
thanks in advance
