Error while opening an document in repository

Hi Experts,

I am using da and webtop 5.3.I have uploaded a document in a folder After that when i am clicking in the document link.it is not opening and giving an exception.The screenshot of the error is in the attached file.

I am able to export the same document from my repository to the desktop and then able to view the application.

Please Help me in finding out why this is happening.

Ya this is happening on all the machines including the server.

If this happening on multiple machines, then I would check if there is something wrong with app server. Was this working before and just recently got this error is this a new install?

HI....I have installed a new da and fresh webtop.And this is giving error.

What app server and JDK are you using? Also, is this 5.3SP6 for entire stack (eg Content Server, DA, and Webtop?

I am using tomcat as application server and this is on 5.3 sp2

Which version of tomcat? In my experience, you have to use the exact versions of software that is described in the release notes for the Documentum products. Newer versions may not work as expected.
