email task problem

I using email task in my workflow. The email will send a notification to next reviewer like below content.

Domain\user has assigned a TeamSite task to you.
To perform the task, please use the following link:

But when the reviewer click the hyperlink in the mail, the path is link to the email task but not a task assigned to reviewer. Something wrong?

there's obviously something wrong as you are not getting a desired result. most likely, you did not invoke the email task with appropriate parameters

I think problem won't be with task, it will be with email body Template.

iwsend_mail_va.ipl -N "Approve".. where Approve is a group/user task

URL will in body template with dynamic values, on click of that to which page it has to go, these dynamic values will come from task, just needs cross verification.

If one wrote their own email script, than maybe yes.... But it is clear that a correct parameter simply needs to be passed, the rest is the program logic that is already there. It;'s dead simple, and, AFAIK, it's is a very common mistake that people make - put wrong tasks....

Problem solved.
The code :
__INSERT__( iw_get_mail_cmd('iwsend_servlet_mail','SubmitToHead', $cReviewer) );
The parameter 'SubmitToHead' must be replace with next task's name.
I use workflow builder, don't know why it put the email task name here, and I have not interface to change this. In last, I only can change it with notepad.

as I said, it was clear that you were simply putting the wrong name of the task.

ha, I usually use workflow builder to design basic workflows,
then edit the wft file,
sometime the builder tool will miss some transitions,
it's really strange!
Hope workflow builder will release new version to give more setting fields.

I would not expect the existing WFB to get significantly modified / updated in the future.

Although not released with 6.7.0, I believe 6.7.1 (or 6.7 SP1?) will contain a 'beta' of the new WF system that IWOV showed at last year's GearUp (side-by-side with the existing workflow system) - that *should* be a giant step forwards in terms of a UI for developing workflows - though it may be, perhaps (very unclear) a big step backwards for developing workflows outside of a UI. It will be interesting to see, but was unfortunately not part of the 6.7.0 beta release so we'll have to wait and see ...
