Oxygene

Hello,

I'm trying to deploy an ear and a war under jboss of a content server 6.5SP2.

I do a copy of the ear and the war into the folder

C:\DocumentumDfcUser\jboss4.2.0\server\DctmServer_MethodServer\deploy

But nothing append.

Is there somebody who've got an idear ?

You are not supposed to deploy anything to the Jboss which comes along with CS. It is a license violation.

Have you set the properties to the correct value in dfc.properties?

Oxygene

Hello,

I do nothing with the dfc.properties.

Is Jboss use it for deploying ?

Oxygene

I read the DFS_development_65.pdf

and at page 123 and point 7 they say to deploy in the jboss of the content server.

It looks like you want to deploy a dfs custom service. I misunderstood your problem.

Could you attach the error log?

Oxygene

Hello,

The value of dfc.docbroker.host[0] and dfc.docbroker.port[0] are ok.

Even when I copy a war into the folder nothing append jboss doest not

deploy anything.

A tricky way is to unzip your abc.ear to a folder naming as "abc.ear", then copy the folder to the jboss deploy directory.

Of course, make sure the JBoss is started up.

Zheng_Mingqing

Have you deployed dfs.ear in C:\DocumentumDfcUser\jboss4.2.0\server\DctmServer_MethodServer\deploy and started JBoss?

If you have deployed dfs.ear and started JBoss, just copy your ear to the deploy folder. JBoss supports hot deploy.

Oxygene

The support hot deploy of jboss doest not work I do not know why.

Thanks

Could you verify DFS has been deployed successfully? ( e.g. to access http://yourserver:jbossport/services/core/ObjectService?wsdl )

Oxygene

Yes DFS is deployed successfully.

I have no idea I deployed a custom service according to dfs 6.5 development guide before. It worked without any problem.

You can have a try with Wei Zhou's method.

Oxygene

I Think this is because the guide is for 6.5 and the server is in 6.5SP2.

There are some changes between the two server.

Thank's
