Hi,

we are upgrading our DD 5.6 to DD 6.0.1. Can you please clarify the following:

Our current system has OD 5.6 (with SP1)and DD 5.6.

1) Now if we upgrade this to OD 6.0.1 , will our DD also get upgraded??

2)If not do we have to install the DD module 6.0.1 separately ? If we install the DD module (6.0.1), what will happen to the existing DD 5.6 ?? and will the current deployments work as is ?

Hi,

In the latest version (6.x & above), OD & DD comes as a single packaged installable where DD module also gets installed if you install the OD package. It is just that you have to enable the DD module by uncommenting some lines of code in odbase.xml config file. You have to execute the existing DD scripts in a diff manner. Sure your existing DD scripts will work. Pl refer to the OD installation and admin guides for details.
