User of Weptop - Automated Searchs

I am a user of Webtop. I would like to automate a search of webtop to find all object ids associated with a long list of document ids. Is there a way to do this through the webtop interface? Or can I use access to query the backend database? Is there away to use javascript to do this? Also, is the document id some sort of function of the object id or vise versa? Thanks in advance for your help.

There is no out of the box feature that will satisfy your needs. You will have to write a DFC utility to read list of IDs and execute DQL query for those values.

How do I create an account for the download center? I found the download center at the following link:

If you (or your company) has a valid support contract (ie paid your yearly maintenance fee), you should already have a support account. If you have a valid acct and dont have the acct info, contact EMC Support:

Account created in powerlink and request for access to download center submitted and approved. I installed DFC utility. Now I have to find the global registry information such as the repository, username, and password.

it's in the dfc.properties files on the content server

I don't have access to the content server. I am a user. I am requesting the information from IT... don't know if they will allow it. Thanks for the assistance.

Tell them to send you the file. Its normally located (on Windows) - C:\Documentum\config directory.
