AJAX support - how to use it in Forms Builder?

According to User Guide the Forms Builder support AJAX but how I can use it?

For example, I have a Taskspace form type 'Task'. How I can clear a certain field by clicking some button? Or I want by checking/unchecking a checkbox show/hide some dependent field?

There are a few ways that AJAX can be invoked.

1. XPATH Calculations. This can be use to calculate values. Look at XFORMs 1.0 Spec.

2. Forms Adaptors (populating drop down fields, seting field values)

3. Form Rules. (hiding/showing fields)
