Conditional Value Assistance

Hi,

This is a very simple question, I hope. What is the syntax for a Value Assistance condition in Composer? E.g. I want the value assistance query for an attribute to change depending on another (a_is_template). I tried a_is_template=1 and a_is_template="T". Neither worked.

An example in any of the manuals/guides would have been helpful.

Try without the quotes:

a_is_template=T

Got it! That's almost right. The manual says "has to be a docbasic expression", I've never programmed in Docbasic apart from modding the occasional program, but I've heard it's modelled on Visual Basic. I had to think back to my VB days..

Anyway a_is_template=True works. Maybe just a_is_template would also work?
