Restricting users using presets

I need to restrict user to view perticular document using prisets

can anyone help how to restrict.

If you dont want a user to view a document, change the permissions of the document so that the user has NONE permissions on it. Set dm_world - NONE and make sure the user does not belong to any group that has higher permissions.

Can we restrict superuser to view document.

Hi ramji,

This is where the difference between a Sysadmin and SuperUser come into existence.

You cannot restrict the Superuser from accessing data, but if you want this, you can go ahead degrading the superuser to sysadmin and he still have all the other privileges except accessing data.

I hope you can try this.
