Next Task ID in External Task

How can I get the next task ID in an external task (ipl). I want to set the timeout property of the dummy task.

If you know the name of the next task then you can get its ID. The ID of the next task may not be the next number in the sequence though.

There are several ways to do it. From your externaltask tag you can find successor name(s)
and go from there. For example:
my ($jobid, $taskid, $areavpath) =
@_[0
..2];
$job = TeamSite::WFworkflow->new($jobid);
$task = TeamSite::WFtask->new($taskid);
my ($success, $desiredTask) = $job->GetTaskByName('desired task name');
if ($success) {
my $dID = $desiredTask->GetId();
}
else {
# Process error
}

Hi Sandeep,
Better use the next successor task name... as i have used most of WFconstructor.... it automatically changes to the task ID after the workflow invoke within the memory.
