Deleted folder and DCR still in STAGING

Hello,

we have three workareas. All WA had the same content.
In one WA a specific DCR and its folder was deleted. This although was submitted.
The CMS said "Conflicts. DCR is locked in one WA". But nowhere the DCR is locked. I checked it thousand times :-(

No the customer deleted all DCR and folders by hand in every WA. How can we delete it from the STAGING.
Nothing worked. Even submitting of the parent folder. All we got is the "conflict" message.

We are using TS 5.5.2.1 14136 20021127

I've played this game before. It took me a combination of getting the folder and it's files back from staging, redeleting and resubmitting. Somewhere in there I may have even created a new folder with the same name and re-deleted. In the end some combination of this worked.

There's also a utility you can get from support called something like iwliststalelocks. Occasionally it can help point you to the resolution on issues like this.

To add to what Rob has said - yes, this problems comes up because you deleted a folder where were locks on some file(s).

In some worst cases I had to re-create a branch to get rid of the problem.
