View zz_tst. from Content Center Pro

Is there a way to see zz_tst*.* files from the Content Center Pro interface running TeamSite 6.5?

I can see the files from the command line, but not from the UI. I'm hoping that there's some some sort of property that I could set in the /etc/iw.cfg file, but I see no reference to zz_tst*.* files anywhere in the docs.

As far as I know there isn't a way(helpful answer, eh?)...

but I am curious why you would want to see them? They're hidden so as not to confuse the users.

My ultimate goal is to be able to whack these files from the remote servers by deleting them from the TeamSite workareas and deploying the deletions using OpenDeploy.

Otherwise I'll have to write up detailed instructions for the administrator to remove the files from the TeamSite server and from the remote servers. (Yes, I'm lazy.)

At some point in the past, some of these zz_tst*.* files got deployed (instead of being filtered out.) We are going to begin automaticaly checking links in our files and I want to remove these files to avoid having them show up in the results.

I suspect that you're right in saying that there's no way to view them. It doesn't hurt to ask, though.

I've never tried to do this particular thing before, so I'm just thinking out loud, but if you put a source side filter on a deployment that has do-deletes on, wouldn't that kill the files on the target?

you can add a cgi script that will display the zz file list.

That's what we used to do:
<excludePattern regex="zz_tst.*" /> and <transferRules doDeletes="yes" />

Although these days I set up preview files to be in a separate directory (preview-dir="/preview/") in the templating.cfg which is outside of my deployment path.
