Preventing user from logging into DA/webtop

hi all,

        Can we prevent users from logging into docbase through Documentum products like Webtop, DA etc, and only allowing  through DFC API's used in our custom applications and still retain rights and persmissions like basic documentum operations assigned to him/her.

The obvious answer is to not install Webtop/DA on servers that your users can get access to.  What we have done on past projects is to have firewall only allow access to DA app server for certain IT desktops.

Assuming you want to have users use Webtop for one repository, but not for your custom repository, look at using Privileged Clients in the Content Server Admin Guide.
